BREWDOG LOST FOREST

BrewDog partnered with employee-owned Scottish Woodlands to plan and deliver on a 5-year peatland restoration and woodland creation programme.
9,308 acres, located in the Scottish Highlands south of Aviemore.
We have planted 500,000 trees to date, with over 500,000 more planned for 2024, with a focus on bio-diverse woodlands.
BrewDog is also working on peatland restoration, which is very efficient in sequestering carbon.
Two phases of woodland creation are initially planned based on the principle of ‘right tree, right place’. This remains subject to approval of the application to the Forestry Grant Scheme. BrewDog in this phase aim to plant over 1.1 million native trees to create a bio-diversebroadleaf woodland and ecosystem across 760 ha.

CARBON NEUTRAL SPIRITS

At BrewDog Distilling Company, we make carbon neutral certified spirits. That means, for all the carbon omitted during the creation of our products – from ordering our glass bottles and raw ingredients, to the final leg of the delivering delicious spirits to our customers – is offset using a selection of approved partners.

With the help of Small World Consulting, run by one of the leading voices in carbon offsetting, Mike Berners-Lee, we ensure that our sustainability programme is underpinned by a watertight strategy, the best partners around the globe, and we guarantee to capture all of the carbon used, offsetting across scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.

The BrewDog Bio-Energy Plant will significantly reduce our local environmental impact, helping deliver our ambitious 2023 zero-emissions brewery target.

A flavourful Blanco tequila, crafted in the heartland of the spirit in collaboration with one of the founding Tequila families.

The name is born from the ‘lucky strike’, a Mexican myth that dictates a lightening bolt once hit an agave plant and fermented the juices inside. As time passed by, tequila was born and techniques for making 100% agave spirits evolved. Casa Rayos is loaded with lime and orange citrus zest, underpinned by spicy cracked black pepper, pink peppercorn and an earthy component typical of the region in which the agave has been grown. The sleek bottle design pays homage to the agave plant, with its refined leaves adorning the sides of the bottle.
